Saturday & Sunday, November 14th & 15th β€’ 1 - 3 PM β€’ $55.20

Learn the basics of creating your own printed papers using gel plates in-store with Barbara De Pirro! We will explore masking, stencils, mark making, and painterly print techniques, using water-based, slow drying Golden OPEN Acrylics. These methods create unique results; the pressure of printing creates texture and pattern not possible when painting directly on paper. Printmaking is an excellent way to create your own supply of papers for collage, book arts, cards, or art that can stand on its own.

Each Workshop Costs $55.20 β€’ Space Is Limited, RSVP Today!
Content of each workshop will be the same.

RSVP on Eventbrite for the Saturday 11/14 workshop here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/printmaking-with-gel-plates-ac-tacoma-tickets-1999528999062

RSVP on Eventbrite for the Sunday 11/15 workshop here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/printmaking-with-gel-plates-ac-tacoma-tickets-2002555829393

A summary will be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently. All materials will be provided and artists of all levels are welcome. Bring box lid or tray to transport wet art afterwards. Dress for mess!

These events will be upstairs in our classroom (no elevator available). Parking and seating are limited. For more information, feel free to contact the instructor at [email protected].
