It's the day before the Sale and all through the store I'm restocking galore!

Big window got a little glow up refresh this morning. I'm working on getting so many new pieces out for you for tomorrow's big day. Refilled clothing with 2 new tubs of finds this morning too. It will be hard not to find something you can't leave without this weekend.

We did a pop into Stocklist Goods yesterday to bring in a fresh batch of summer style for you! Great new to you tshirts in store now. Pop in for those great Father's Day cards, fun gifts and flip through the vintage clothing rack. And of course, give Mona some loves.

We're off our schedule with all these car related calls and appointments we're now incumbered with, but we are still getting things done for you behind the scenes right now. Like tonight we made it into Inta Vintage to get some fresh finds in store for you. That Pendleton would be mine if it fit. I love it so much. We redid the art wall with fresh Western pieces for you. Restocked the toy cars. Added new barware. Added dinosaur toys and had fun filling the space for you. This weekend is Rhubarb Days all around Main Street. Such a good old fashioned family event.

We're gearing up for this Sunday's big event in downtown Tacoma for the annual Summer Sale and for next weeks NW Flea Market at the Kitsap Fair Grounds on Friday and Saturday.

We've always run things around here pretty openly. We are this business. It is US. So we're going to let you know what's been happening behind the scenes this week and how it will continue to impact us short term.

An unfortante thing happened this week. I was involved in an accident, rear-ended. Hard. She said she had 3 choices, go into oncomming traffic, hit the fence on the side of her car her daughter was in risking her, or hit me, the car in front of her. I won the short stick of no good possibilities.

How does that impact you? My car is not safe to drive at the moment. Not sure how long all this will take to handle but it means we have to car share meaning we might have to close at random hours to get one of us to other places.

It also means a heck of a lot of Dr. appointments. I am doing my best to schedule those at times outside of our hours but some will conflict. Meaning some more random closed times.

So if you come to the downtown location and we're not here- your patience and grace is very apprecaited. I also apprecaite the customers that have understood when I couldn't lift the heavy stuff for them this week.

We have my birthday event next weekend and our next big show the week after. We are determined to make them both happen. Just might take a little more help than we planned but you've supported US through rough moments before and I feel thankful to have you cheer us through this one too. We know, in every single way, we couldn't be US without you. Thank you for your support as we make pivots to deal with this.

I know it could have been so much worse and am reminding myself how much I have to be thankful for every day. But if you want to send any well wishes for a quick recovery and pain reduction, to where you find your faith and place your hope, I will happily accept your well wishes.

Also this is a little advice- I just learned 1 in 8 drivers have NO insurance in WA state. There are more that are under insured. Look up your insurance and make sure you have uninsured and underinsured driver protection and that your amounts of insurance will cover possible injuries and car repair totals. We've had the same agent for years and feel incredibly thankful for his guidance. If you need a referal me a message.
