🌼 A new chapter for Takoma Park business, Park Florist begins tomorrow!
🌼 Jeena Saunders, Takoma Park resident and Park Florist’s longtime creative leader and store manager, will now take over as owner.
🌼 Jeena has spent the past decade designing many of the shop’s signature arrangements, managing daily operations, and shaping the design style and quality service customers associate with Park Florist. Her work has included designing for weddings, events, and high‑profile clients throughout the Washington, DC region. As a lifelong Takoma Park resident, Jeena is deeply connected to the community and committed to maintaining the quality, creativity, and reliability the shop is known for.
🌼 After 25 years guiding the shop, owner Jeanne Ha is retiring from daily operations, but remains connected to the team as a supportive advisor and consultant. Jeanne and her husband, Dennis are longtime residents of Takoma Park and have been a constant presence in the Takoma business community. In addition to running the shop, Jeanne is an award-winning designer, author, and founder of the Washington Flower School. Takoma Park is forever impacted by her creativity.
🌼 Park Florist is one of the oldest flower shops in the Washington, DC region. Continuously operating since 1935, the shop has served generations of customers. As the newest owner, Jeena is focused on preserving the shop’s legacy while continuing to enhance the award-winning design and customer service for which she and the Park Florist staff are known.
