The Talking Rock General Store is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. We invite you to visit and try your luck in our Gemstone Mining sluiceways or strike it big Gold Panning. We have two mining sluices capable of holding up to 50 gemstone miners and a gold panning trough that will hold up to 25 people. Both areas are outdoor and are covered while offering a fresh breeze from fans to

keep you cool and comfortable while you treasure hunt! Come inside Talking Rock General where we offer picnic tables for large parties and a gift shop where you will find fine jewelry, affordable gemstone treasures, and gifts for all ages. Visit our Lil’ Gem Café for a hot or cold beverage that offers a range of caffeinated and decaffeinated drinks to suit your taste. We also serve soft serve ice cream cones for the young and those young at heart.
