There is no better feeling than completing a quilt start to finish — in one day!! When I found out that my future supervising teacher was having a baby soon, I had to jump on the opportunity to create my first baby quilt. With a theme like Under the Sea, how could I not?? I had so much fun picking out fabrics for this quilt, combining textures, colors, and fabric types to create a fun sensory experience for the little guy on the way.

they say a block a day keeps the stress away 🪡

one thing i have always struggled with as a creator is the urge to finish a project in one day. it is so easy to feel guilty for starting a project and letting it sit there for weeks with no progress. one thing that is important to remember is that there is NO perfect timeline for a project. you are not required to create something every day. take time to do the things you love at your own pace. crafting is an opportunity for you to be creative, and that process should not be pushed. take your time and enjoy your own timeline!
