🍎✨ Happy World Teachers’ Day! ✏️📚

Today we celebrate the teachers who inspire, encourage, empower, and light the way for brighter futures. 💡❤️

Thank you for the patience, passion, and heart you bring into the classroom every single day. The impact you make shines far beyond those four walls. ✨

From all of us at Tallahassee Lighting & Decor, thank you, teachers! 🍎📚💡

✨ KITCHEN LIGHTING 101 | Lesson 05: Toe Kick Lighting

Sometimes the smallest lighting detail makes the biggest difference.

Toe kick lighting is installed along the base of your cabinets, creating a soft glow that makes cabinetry appear to almost float. ✨ It adds warmth and dimension to the room while providing gentle illumination for those late-night trips to the kitchen.

It’s subtle. It’s unexpected. And it’s one of those design details that can take a kitchen from beautiful to beautifully finished.

💡 The design lesson: Great lighting isn’t always meant to be noticed—it’s meant to change how a space feels.

Want to discover lighting ideas you may not even know are possible? Stop by Tallahassee Lighting & Decor and let us show you how the right lighting can completely transform your space.

✨ KITCHEN LIGHTING 101 | Lesson 04: Backsplash Lighting

Your backsplash doesn’t have to just sit in the background. Light it. ✨

Thoughtfully placed lighting can bring stone, tile and texture to life—highlighting veining, adding depth and creating a warm glow that completely changes the mood of your kitchen.

And it’s not just beautiful. Backsplash and under-cabinet lighting can provide valuable task lighting right where you need it most: your countertops.

💡 The design lesson: Sometimes the most dramatic lighting in a kitchen isn’t the fixture you see—it’s the light you don’t see.

Curious about what lighting could do in your kitchen? Stop by Tallahassee Lighting & Decor and let us show you possibilities you may not have considered.

A room gets interesting when you stop playing it safe. ✨

Statement art. Sculptural lighting. Beautifully collected ceramics. Rich wood tones. This is what happens when pieces with personality are layered together—the result feels collected, not decorated.

We love a space that gives you something new to notice every time you look at it.

Come wander the showroom at Tallahassee Lighting & Decor and find the piece you didn’t know your room was missing.

🩷 This October, we shine a little brighter for hope.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor the women and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer — those currently fighting, the survivors who inspire us, and those we lovingly remember.
At Tallahassee Lighting & Decor, we believe light has a beautiful way of representing hope — even during the darkest moments.
So this month, we’re adding a little more pink to our world and shining our light in support of breast cancer awareness. 🎀✨
For strength. For courage. For hope.
Let your light shine. 🩷
