✨The ‘Black Out Poet - Tea Night’ offers a unique and creative way to blend literature and art. This set includes curated pages and tools for crafting blackout poetry, inspiring originality and introspection. Perfect for enthusiasts of poetry and artistic expression, it provides a relaxing and meditative experience. Ideal for personal use or as a thoughtful gift.

🖊️For Blackout Poet-Tea Night Isabella will be guiding you through creating Blackout Poetry, a creative poetic form where a poet “blacks out” or in some way erases preexisting words to create a new poem. The Blackout Poetry Kit includes; 10 book pages (from kids books, plays, adult novels), 1 example of blackout poetry, 1 marker, 1 pencil, 1 information card with instructions, and 1 pencil sharpener. 

✨Isabella of Isabella👩‍🎨 has an A.A in Arts from Hillsborough College, and is co-owner of Itimpi Bookstore. Her goals art wise has been to expose herself to a myriad of art forms. The art form that currently interests her is Blackout Poetry, since it is an art form that includes reading.

🍵KC of Noisy Crane Tea will be sharing tea and filling your cup while you create your Blackout Poetry.

Did you know that September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day?!? Join us for our Sept 2nd Palm Harbor Museum Presents as Palm Harbor author/historian/speaker Robert Jacob presents Pirates of the Florida Coast on Wed., Sept 2 at 6:30 PM at Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Ave., Palm Harbor.

In addition to Tampa Bay's annual Gasparilla festivities, Floridians reenact pirate invasions throughout the year, including the Pirates of the High Seas Fest, The Cedar Key Pirate Invasion, Sir Francis Drake's Siege of of St. Augustine and more. In fact, our West Coast and our North Pinellas region saw their share of pirates.

Robert Jacob's passion for history equals his commitment to historical accuracy. For over 50 years, he has been actively involved in living history portrayals, including the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, Mountain Man, Western Gunfighter, and Pirates. While researching pirates, Robert's discovery that much of the historical record was contradictory and inaccurate motivated him to write his first book, A Pirate’s Life in the Golden Age of Piracy. Fans attending book signings and festivals in Florida inspired him to write a second, Pirates of the Florida Coast: Truths, Legends, and Myths. He has just completed his third, Blackbeard: The Truth Revealed.

An inductee to the International Pirate Hall of Fame, Jacob's engaging presentations are popular nationally and he has appeared on the History Channel’s series Beyond Oak Island as a pirate expert. His site: https://www.robertjacobauthor.com/
