What studio indecision feels like today 😂

One of my repair clients gifted me this cool inlay bracelet for me to do whatever I want with! Natural stones (from first look), sterling, an a stretchy steel in the back.

The stretchy aspect is cool in theory but kinda catches your skin which is a tad ouchy.

What would you do with it? Rejuvenate it with new stones or scrap it for the metal? Or something else? 🧐 Stones are definitely being saved though!

I’d you see my studio this clean, that’s when you know I have important company coming over 😂

This morning I had the folks from Hillsborough County and the Arts Council of Hillsborough County to film for an upcoming piece for their Art813 series! I can’t wait to be a part of it!

But it was funny expecting 3 people to be in my studio. Imagine my shock when I had 7 people crammed in my studio 🤣 it was an awesome experience and I can’t wait to share the finished video once it’s done 🧡

And of course I had to wear my Head in the Clouds earrings during the interview. Will be making a few to add to my site too! ☁️🌤️☁️

Took a short moment from inlay repairs to oogle this amazing Montana agate in a sweet trade with a fellow lapidary that collects his own material 😍 I’ll never get sick of the crazy variation from slab to slab.

No plans for it just yet, but maybe there will be a Montana agate collection in the future 🪨

Thanks to everyone who came out this past weekend to the 2026 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts! It was so great being able to show my inlays in my hometown to such a great crowd!

I also have to shout out to my sister Chrissy for being the best booth helper during the weekend ❤️ it made the show that much more fun.

Hoping to do a few more shows in the coming years than I usually do, so I hope to see yall at the next one too!

I probably won’t have time to finish this before the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts coming this weekend but you know darn well I’m going to try anyways 😆

But talk about some juicy color here in this Andean opal and chrysoprase (both from because he knows how to get the good stuff lol)

Between 10 inlay repairs, I managed to eke out some time to finish my Lapis Reflection Collection with another pair of hinged earrings featuring some carved lapis shells 💙🐚 paired with Andean pink opal

Will be sharing the other 2 pendants soon too!

I was running low on my business cards, so I ordered some new ones with a refreshed cover with my Lapis Reflection mermaid pendant 🧜‍♀️ and they came just in time to grab one at the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts Feb 28-March 1. I’m busy working on a few more new pieces (hopefully another mermaid!) to debut at the show 💙

Just a little test run for a custom 🏁 Hubei turquoise + howlite but it’s also giving me ideas of how to make a checkerboard intarsia without needing the usual $2k equipment. Upcoming class maybe?

For my jeweler peers: Halstead’s virtual Jewelry Business Forum is back and this year and brings people from the jewelry field to talk about hot topics from marketing to finances to live demos.

I’ll be one of the many speakers included to talk about point-of-sale systems.

The JBF is a great way to learn some new things to improve your business AND I have 4 free tickets to give away!

Because I want these tickets to go to someone whose business could really benefit from the forum, DM me a 1-3 sentence reply on how you think this forum could benefit your business. Is there a particular talk/demo you’re looking forward to?
