💜🇺🇸 Today is National Purple Heart Day 🇺🇸💜

Today is a particularly meaningful day here at Hooked Pirate, as our owner is honored to be a Purple Heart recipient.

The Purple Heart represents more than a medal. It represents sacrifice, courage, and the price that some of our nation’s heroes have paid while serving our country.

Today, we honor all Purple Heart recipients — those who came home carrying the physical and emotional scars of service, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice and never got the chance to come home.

To every Purple Heart recipient and their families:

Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your service. And thank you for protecting the freedoms we often take for granted.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, resilience, innovation, and the enduring spirit that has shaped our nation since 1776.

While we’re not perfect, our history is filled with the courage of those who fought for liberty, the determination of those who built this country, and the sacrifices of the brave men and women who continue to protect it every day.

Here’s to honoring our past, appreciating the freedoms we enjoy today, and working together to build an even brighter future for generations to come.

This weekend, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and commitment have shaped the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As we enjoy time with family, cast lines, or sail into the horizon, let’s carry their legacy with us—honoring their memory by living fully and freely.

From all of us at Hooked Pirate, thank you to our fallen heroes. We remember you. We honor you. We will never forget. 🎖️

Never forget what today is about!! 2 of the 3 men I knew personally from High School or served with in Afghanistan!

RIP Jason Burnett!! Graduated high school and played football with this young man who died in Iraq 2006.

RIP Captain Jeremy Henwood! Served with him in Afghanistan from July 2010 to February 2011! Was killed by a civilian in San Diego, CA while serving as a police officer in San Diego.

Hooked Pirate be droppin’ anchor at the Tampa Bay Boat Show, and we be callin’ all salty sea dogs to join the crew!

This year, we proudly launched the Black Flag Society, introducing the Hooked Pirate Brand Ambassador program. We charted new waters with several cruises—including an unforgettable voyage to Alaska!

On the home front, we celebrated big milestones as well—sending our oldest son off as a high school freshman and watching our youngest begin a new school adventure.

To our crew, supporters, and fellow pirates: thank you for standing with Hooked Pirate throughout this incredible year. Your support keeps our sails full and our course true.

We can’t wait to see what treasures 2026 holds. Until then—fair winds, following seas, and Happy New Year! ☠️🏴‍☠️
