I never thought my FOD walking experience would come in handy in the epoxy floor world... but here I am, killin it on a job site!
If you're a military veteran whose ever been on an airfield home or abroad, you may have had the opportunity to do a FOD (Foreign Object Debris) walk. For those unfamiliar with the term, its where you take a systematic approach to scanning every inch of an airfield to ensure there is no debris that could be a potential hazard to aircraft intakes, engines, and tires.
At this 22k square foot warehouse, the project was to find and fill all nail holes and spalls in the concrete floor... after 372 hours of doing a solo FOD walk (okay, maybe Im elaborating a little), I was confident we had found and filled the hundreds of patch locations, and I like to think because of my expertise, we have avoided the possibility of an airfield incident as well.
