Welcome, season change! Or what passes for it. While our fall season seems brief and largely undetectable, you’ll notice changes in the daylight with a later sunrise and an early sunset. When patterns begin to change and the twilight hours bring a special feel to the air. This slow change is more apparent to our finny friends. Just prior to the first cold front in The panhandle, White Bait Migrate south attracting massive schools of king fish and Spanish mackerel giving us the heads up on their movement. Whitebait will show on Deepwater Wrecks first along with the arrival of a few scout kings ahead of the king fish schools. Closer to shore on artificial reefs and hard bottom areas from Pasco down to Sarasota, a push of Spanish mackerel show up just off the beach is making it a great time for a dawn run trolling spoons ,plugs and white bait for mackerel Sent from my iPhone
