Happy Thursday, Crew!

Thursday is Commander day and several games are already going on. Grab those decks and come battle!
Whether you play stock starter decks through CEDH, we have players here playing at that level. Come up, have a conversation with your opponents, and make with the battles!

We are in June. That means Hurricane season is underway.
Make sure your prep list is in order and stock up on supplies. Keep water on hand, some way to power stuff, and all of the nonsense needed in case we have another 2024.

Take the time now to get that stuff sorted and out of the way.

Happy Wednesday, Crew!

Tonight starts our new Riftbound Wacky Wednesday event night!
Join us at 7:30 pm for 2v2 constructed. $10 entry (per person), 3 round best of 1 swiss pairings, pack per win (minimum 1) per person.
Each Wednesday we will be hosting a different format that is not 1v1 Constructed. Next week is 3 player FFA, the week after is Unleashed Draft. Keep an eye on our discord or calendar for the format.

MtG Standard starts at 7 pm.
We have fired consistently from the beginning of the year and want to see this event continue to grow. $10 entry, 3 round swiss, minimum prizes of 2 booster packs. This event is designed to be light and fun, brew a pile assessable.

This Saturday is our Riftbound Summoner Skirmish at 3 pm and Crisis Protocol Tournament at noon.
Next Saturday is D&D Ravenloft Celebration at 3 pm and MtG Avengers Academy 3 pm to 8 pm.
If you are looking to learn Magic or D&D, June 13th is going to be a great day to come have some fun!

Happy Tuesday, Crew!

Join us tonight for

Magic Drafters,
There is a slight... yeah slight supply issue with draft boosters.
In the lead up to Marvel releasing in a few weeks, we are going to be running Player's Choice drafts with Avatar, Turtles, and Spider-man as the options for draft. While our normal price for Universes Beyond drafts is $23, until Marvel release, we will be reducing that price to $17 to match our price for In Universe sets. When Marvel releases, we will be drafting it for the first 3 weeks (minimum) and going back to Player's Choice after.
Marvel prerelease week starts June 19th. Preorders and prerelease sign ups are open.

Star Wars Unlimited players,
We will be drafting A Lawless time on June 16th at 7:30 pm

Adventurers League Players
Ravenloft Celebration is June 13th. Sign ups are open for the Celebration event and the 4 weekly play modules.

40k Players,
11th edition release is June 20th. So we are hosting a tournament on June 21st! Get ready for new edition, no waiting, Sunday event!

Happy Thursday, Crew!

Thursday is Commander day and many have braved the weather to enjoy some awesome battles with wonderful people. Grab those decks and come battle until 11 pm tonight.

D&D Enjoyers, the next book Ravenloft: The Horrors Within releases next month. WotC has started a new program with D&D Book releases, and we are participating. The kickoff Adventurers League event will be on Jun 13th at 3 pm. This module will use 3rd level characters and up to 4 tables of Adventurers working simultaneously on different portions of a module.
If you are looking at getting into D&D, this is the a great jumping in point.
Tuesday nights from June 16th to July 7th modules will be a continuation of the Ravenloft Celebration, with a tier 1 module each week.
Sign ups for the Celebration and the Weekly events are available in store or give us a call.

Preorders are open for the Ravenloft: the Horrors Within book if you want to add it to your collection.

This Saturday we have 3 events, so it will be a very busy day at the store.

40k Apocalypse game kicks off at 11 am.
MtG Modern Horizons Draft starts at 2 pm
Star Wars Unlimited Store Showdown starts at 3 pm

Happy Wednesday, Crew!

Starting June 3rd, we are going to be adding a Riftbound event on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm.
This event will have a rotating format including 2v2, multiplayer games, Draft / sealed, and other wacky formats. It is not on our calendar just yet, but will be soon, same with UVS event listings.

Hop into our Discord to stay more up to date with what is going on here at Armada. It is also useful for announcements of when stuff goes up for preorder, product inquiries, and game scheduling.

Secrets of Strixhaven is out of stock right now, so we are drafting prior sets until we can get more.
This week's choices are Duskmourn, Edge of Eternities, and Avatar.

This Saturday is our Magic Store Champs. 3 pm start time, Standard constructed. Rounds and cut appropriate for attending players.

Next Saturday we are hosting the SWU Store Champs at 3 pm and MtG Modern Horizons 3 Draft at 2 pm.

Happy Friday, Crew!

And to make it better, we got a paint restock from GW. Sprays and pots are (mostly) full again. There are still some glaring holes, but it is better... yay!

Happy Monday, Crew!

Monday is Board Game and Gundam night.
Bring your own games or play one of the 150 games in our library. We have everything from rules light to very complex, single player to 10 player, and a ton of different mechanics and themes.
Our Library is built to have game anyone could enjoy. Let us be your guide through the words of modern board gaming.

Gundam TCG Constructed event starts at 7 pm.
Entry is $6 and all players receive a GD04 booster at the beginning of round 1. Participation promos and finalist promos to be given out as well.

Take some time to play a game or two, hang out with some cool people, and get a little relaxation time.

Today is release day for Riftbound Unleashed and Star Wars Twin Suns Decks.
We have a small amount of Unleashed available for purchase and are limiting packs to 6 per person per day. If you had a preorder, they are ready for pick up.
Star Wars Twin Suns decks are also available for purchase today.

Saturday May 9th 6 pm to 10 pm, we are hosting a special board gaming event in participation with The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at USF. CARD is a state-funded program that assists individuals with autism of all ages and their families through consultation, referrals, or with trainings and guidance for schools, businesses, and other parts of the community throughout the Tampa Bay area.
We will have tables available and a spread of fantastic board games to play. This is a free event focused on providing a safe, more sensory-friendly space for social interaction and shared activities. You are not required to be a student at USF or a member of CARD to participate. This event is open to the public.
You are encouraged to bring friends or family along to play games and meet some new people.

Selected games will include
Cooperative games – The Crew: Mission Deep Sea
Competitive intro games – Fluxx, Star Wars Deck Building Games
2 player games – Patchwork, HIVE
Large group games – Concept and Codenames
and many more.
