FLORIDA HEAT-LOVING PLANTS: JERICHO ROMAINE LETTUCE πŸ”₯πŸ₯¬

Yes... You CAN Grow Lettuce in Florida Year-Round! 🌿
Jericho Romaine (Lactuca sativa) is a remarkable heirloom lettuce developed in Israel specifically for exceptional heat tolerance. If you've struggled to grow lettuce through Florida's warmer months, Jericho is the variety you've been waiting for!
This full-headed romaine produces crisp, juicy, sword-shaped leaves with a sweet, mild flavor and continues to perform when temperatures would cause many other lettuces to bolt.

πŸ₯¬ Why Florida Gardeners Love Jericho Romaine:
β€’ One of the best lettuces for year-round growing in Florida.
β€’ Exceptional heat tolerance compared to traditional romaine varieties.
β€’ Produces large, full heads with crisp, juicy leaves.
β€’ Sweet, mild flavor that's perfect for fresh salads, wraps, and sandwiches.
β€’ Easy to grow and highly productive.

🌞 Growing Tips for Florida:
β€’ During summer, start seeds indoors where temperatures are cooler, as germination may drop to around 30% in the heat.
β€’ Plant in dappled or filtered sunlight during the hottest months and harvest leaves young for the best quality.
β€’ In fall, winter, and spring, grow in full sun and allow plants to mature into full-sized heads.
β€’ Keep soil consistently moist for the sweetest, most tender leaves.
πŸ₯— Harvest & Enjoy:
Pick individual outer leaves for an extended harvest, or allow the plant to form a full romaine head before harvesting. Its crisp texture and refreshing flavor make it an excellent choice for Caesar salads, sandwiches, tacos, and fresh garden salads.

πŸ’š If you've always thought Florida summers meant giving up fresh homegrown lettuce, Jericho Romaine proves otherwise. It's one of the most dependable heat-tolerant lettuces you can grow!
