Built for cleanup.

A good day on the water doesn’t end when the fish hits the cooler. When it’s time to clean the catch, having the right knife makes all the difference, and Tampa Fishing Outfitters is stocked up on SORD Knives.

From shorter, more flexible blades for smaller fish and detailed work to larger knives for bigger offshore catches, SORD has options for just about everything we chase around Florida. Pick the size and feel that matches the fish you’re cleaning instead of trying to make one knife do every job.

Sharp, comfortable, and made for anglers who put their gear to work, these are knives you’ll want waiting at the cleaning table after a successful trip.

Stop by Tampa Fishing Outfitters, check out the SORD lineup, and put a few in your hand to find the one that feels right.

One shrimp. Any water.

The Nomad Design Live Ops Switcher Shrimp is one of those baits that can stay tied on when the conditions change. Its four-way rigging system lets you fish it forward, backward, weedless, or on a jighead, so you can change the presentation without changing the bait. It’s also built from tough Titan-RX TPE and loaded with scent plus UV/Glow features. [Nomad Tackle](https://www.nomadtackle.com/collections/live-ops-sw-switcher-shrimp?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Fishing skinny water on the flats? Keep it light and natural. Working bridge fish in heavy current? Put it on the right jighead and get it down. Need to work through grass without hanging up every cast? Rig it weedless and keep moving.

That versatility is what makes the Switcher Shrimp such a good one-stop artificial shrimp. From reds and snook on the flats to fish stacked around deeper structure, you can adjust the rig to the situation instead of reaching for a completely different bait.

Stop by Tampa Fishing Outfitters, check out the Nomad Design Live Ops Switcher Shrimp lineup, and build a shrimp setup that can go almost anywhere you want to fish.

No Live Bait Needed!

When the water cools down, snook often stack up in deeper holes, and the NLBN 4" Shrimp is a great bait to have ready when you need to get down to them. Pair it with a heavier head like a 1/6 oz 3/0 NLBN jighead and you’ve got a simple setup that works well for getting the bait into the zone without overcomplicating things.

Tampa Fishing Outfitters has the NLBN lineup for just about whatever you’re targeting. We’ve got the 4" Shrimp for winter snook, 9" K-Tails for the big-bait crowd, NLBN jigheads and terminal options, NLBN rulers for getting a quick measurement on your fish, plus some new custom color boxes that are hard to find anywhere else.

Come check out the NLBN section at Tampa Fishing Outfitters, stock up for the cooler-weather bite, and see how these guys live up to the name.

Tune your GLYDE.

The JYG GLYDE gives you a lot of bait for the money. At 8 inches and 3 ounces, it’s a big-profile glide bait built from solid resin with a wire-through design, BKK Viper hooks, heavy-duty rotating hook hangers, and a replaceable silicone tail. At this price it brings a lot of premium glide-bait features without the premium glide-bait price tag.

The coolest part is the adjustable joint system. By changing the spacing at the pin/eyebolts, you can tune how the bait swims — open it up for a tighter, more aggressive chop or tighten it down for a wider, slower glide with more hang time. That means one bait can be adjusted to match how you want to fish it instead of being locked into one action.

Slow roll it, sweep and pause it, or tune it for a tighter action when you want to make the bait move. Whether you’re chasing snook, tarpon, bass, or anything else willing to eat a big bait, the GLYDE gives you plenty of ways to make them look.

Come by Tampa Fishing Outfitters, check out the JYG GLYDE in person, and see how much bait you’re getting for the price.

Reds are turning on.

Fall is right around the corner, and the redfish bite around Tampa Bay is starting to come alive. Cooler weather opens up a lot of different ways to target them, from working artificials along the shoreline to soaking live bait around mangroves, flats, and moving water.

A live bait under a popping cork is always a go-to. It lets you cover water, keep the bait suspended, and make enough noise to pull attention when the fish are spread out or feeding around structure.

What’s your favorite way to target reds this time of year? Popping cork, freelined bait, paddletail, spoon, topwater?

Drop a comment below and let us know what’s been working for you, then stop by Tampa Fishing Outfitters for the tackle you need to get ready for the fall redfish bite.

Shrimply the best.

We’ve all heard it before: everything eats a shrimp. But not every shrimp bait fishes the same, and depending on where you’re fishing and what you’re targeting, changing up the presentation can make all the difference.

Freelining around mangroves, hopping a shrimp on a jig, working the flats, drifting deeper water, or even dropping one around the reef — Tampa Fishing Outfitters has artificial shrimp options for all of it. Different sizes, weights, actions, colors, and rigging styles give you plenty of ways to match what the fish want that day.

We’ve got the tried-and-true classics that have been catching fish for years, plus plenty of newer offerings worth adding to the box.

Stop by Tampa Fishing Outfitters and check out our shrimply unbeatable selection of artificial shrimp.

Bridge fish get heavy.

Black drum are hitting around the bridges, and hooking one is only half the battle. Once you’ve worked a big fish all the way up to the rail, the last thing you want to question is whether your landing net can handle getting it the rest of the way.

That’s where a good net earns its place on the trip. Lee Fisher Sports has landing nets in just about every size and style you could need, from everyday inshore fishing to the big hoops and heavy-duty nets you want when there’s a serious fish below the bridge.

Don’t wait until there’s a big drum at the rail to realize the net you brought isn’t up to the job. Come by Tampa Fishing Outfitters and get set up with a Lee Fisher Sports net you can trust when it matters.
