New AnglerCo Imposter Jigs just landed at Tampa Fishing Outfitters.

We’ve expanded the lineup with 30g through 200g sizes in some great fish-catching colors, including Pinfish, Bonita, Hornbelly, Vermillion Snapper, and Mahi.

These are slow pitch and flutter-style jigs made to imitate the baitfish that offshore predators are already hunting. Drop them around reefs, wrecks, ledges, rock piles, and structure, then let the flash, profile, and flutter do the work.

Tampa Fishing Outfitters is thrilled to be working with Mason Bixby and Nate Smithburg, two recent Tampa Bay Rays draft picks.

First off, congratulations to both of these guys. , , getting drafted by our local MLB team is a huge accomplishment, and we’re excited to have them here in Florida.

We know Mason and Nate are destined for big things on the field, but more importantly to us, they’re destined to get on some big fish while they’re down in Florida.

These guys were tearing it up in Texas, and now they’re ready to find some slabs in their new hometown. When they told us they traveled light and didn’t have fishing rods with them yet, we knew we had to fix that.

So we loaded up some gear, hopped in the car, and met up with them in Port Charlotte to make sure they were ready for the water.

Florida summer is in full swing, and the heat is not playing around.

When the water gets hot, bass are not going to stay shallow and chase like they do in cooler conditions. A lot of the time, getting just a little bit deeper can make the difference.

You don't always need to find the deepest hole in the lake. Sometimes you just need to find enough depth for the fish to feel that change in temperature, settle in, and feed where they are more comfortable.

That is where crankbaits like the Rapala DT8 and DT10 come in.
