Some sourcing days are good.
And then there are the days that remind you exactly why you fell in love with this in the first place.

Room after room, boxes stacked everywhere, layers of history waiting to be uncovered…this was the kind of private estate dig that completely feeds my passion for what I do. That feeling of not knowing what’s around the next corner, digging through forgotten things, finding the pieces that make your heart skip a beat; that thrill never gets old.

I’m incredibly grateful to a fellow seller (The Farmhouse Friar ) who thought of me and connected me with this opportunity. Being trusted with access to something like this means more than I can say.

And yes… the haul was absolutely insane. ✨ what did you spot??

Have you developed a fixation with antique watch chains like I have?? I think it’s only a matter of time for most of us antique lovers 🤭

Once used to secure pocket watches, you will see everything from simple curb links to fancy bar links, slides, swivels, dog clips, T-bars, fobs and little engraved details that were meant to be personal.

But my favorite part thing is wearing them as necklaces, mixing different link styles and lengths, clipping on antique lockets, fobs, charms, pendants, crosses, whatever feels right that day. The old clasps make it ridiculously easy to change everything around, so one chain can become ten different necklaces depending on what you add to it.

These gold filled beauties came home with me today. Which is your favorite?

When you support a small business, it’s so much more personal than a transaction. You’re supporting someone who spends their days sourcing, their nights packing boxes, their in-between hours researching, photographing, answering messages, taking risks, and constantly wondering what the next season will bring.

Every order, every share, every comment, every person who shows up for a live, it counts more than I could express.

Ivy Hollow has grown into something we never could have built by ourselves. There are real people behind this little business, a real family, and a whole lot of heart poured into it.

I was so proud of how the show came together and so grateful for all the love on it!
We are currently fighting Whatnot glitches and show time change adjustments so it can be easy to fall into discouragement, but when I see over 200 items sold, hundreds of people stopping in, and the community sending their support…it puts things into perspective.
