Another bit of progress on the shop and help from another long time friend, Mark Dillon. Mark helped me move a not new but very historic lathe. My fellow wood turner and friend John Mascoll presented it to me as a gift for my new shop. John is well known in the art world for his renowned woodturning. I could not turn down this 1600+ pound Nichols lathe. Thank you John for the lathe. And a special thanks to Mark for his assistance in moving it TWICE to get it to its final home!

Getting another step closer to a working shop. My longtime good friend John Santiago came to help. The delivery of the studs and plywood to finish the interior was delivered and is ready to go ……. as soon as the local power company moves us to the top of their 4 month waiting list! Then the real work starts! Thank you John!

A quick update on my new shop building. After ordering a 24 X 30 foot metal building. I was told by the manufacturer (EverSafe) that as soon as the slab is done the building would follow in a couple of weeks. However, with all the storm damage, they had a rush of orders and it would be 16 weeks. So hoping it makes it by my birthday in January! In the meantime, i take a little time time enjoying my slab with Bolt and Bailey. John Williams Kathy Williams
