Come for one thing. Get distracted by twenty. ✨

This might be the most Roost view of Roost. Your eye lands on the orchids… then the ginger jars… then the zebra… then the mirrors… then that chandelier… and suddenly you’ve forgotten what you came in for.

That’s kind of the point. Roost is meant to be wandered. There’s no prescribed path and no single way to see it. Look up. Look down. Peek around a corner. Get inspired by something you never knew you needed.

A little wild, a little refined—and very Roost. 🦓

This is what happens when you stop worrying about whether things “go” and start choosing what you love. Soft blue chairs meet zebra, orchids meet shells, Buddha meets flamingo, and every layer gives your eye somewhere new to land.

Some pieces are decoration. Some pieces are the whole conversation. 🏺🏺

And in this case, there are two of them. This incredible pair deserves the close-up. Hand-painted scenes wrap nearly every inch, with soft pinks, blues, greens and that beautifully aged palette that makes them feel like they’ve already lived a very interesting life.

We love pieces like these because they don’t need much help. Flank a console. Anchor a mantel. Separate them across a room. Or keep the pair together and let them do all the talking.

The mirror started it. Everything else just followed. ✨

A little symmetry, a little chinoiserie, a little gilt, a little green—and suddenly a console becomes a whole moment.

A ROOM THAT REFUSES TO PICK A LANE. 🐓

Traditional? A little. Chinoiserie? Absolutely. Coastal? There are hints. Collected? Now we’re getting somewhere.

Patterned chairs mingle with a freshly reimagined sofa. Blue & white shares space with peacocks, orchids and art. Old rugs ground newer pieces. Lighting hangs at every height. And somehow, amid all those layers, everything finds its place.

A CHAIR FULL OF CHARACTERS. 🐓

Sometimes the best vignette is the one that happens in a space you weren’t really supposed to decorate.

One of a fabulous pair of red faux-bamboo chairs becomes the backdrop for a few things we love: a whimsical zebra pillow, a sculptural butterfly mirror, and a sweet little cardinal painting by Linda Boykin bringing its own pop of red to the mix.
