Folks:

For those of you who are personal friends, neighbors and colleages, who have requested being added as a 'Friend' to my personal page over the past weeks and many months, I want to encourage everyone to follow us and communicate (either privately or publically) instead through our business page...

'Ambassadors Extravangan-Porium'

It is actually more fun that way and easier for me to manage. I am also on LinkedIn for that purpose.

For years, I avoided the enticement of a personal FB account, but finally created one a few years ago just for close family and distant relatives. But I do wish to connect with all of you thru the business here or its website!

Watch for future announcements and postings here and on local FB Neighborhood Groups. We have started selling other inventory items on Marketplace with links to various Neighborhood Buy/Sell/Trade/Yard Sale Groups. The store's inventory is somewhat vast as many of you can attest to, and it is time to begin working to reduce inventory through many of the venues that exist today.

At Ambassadors, there is literally a little bit of everything you could imagine from Antiques, Vintage, Used & New related to many of the design periods over the past 250 years in the areas of Decorative Arts, Collectibles & Gifts. There are so many practical items for home use at bargain prices besides the decorative, more valuable treasures for your home & collection.

Thank you all for your support here in Taneytown, MD!

Your host Paul

A heavy cast iron wagon wheel in great condition that was converted with lights to be used as a ceiling light fixture probably for a Western style restaurant or steak house, or a converted barn for special occassions. It can be easily converted back as a decorative old wagon wheel. Lights are seen on back side.

Just one of many interesting items available for your inquisitive mind to ponder.

Yes, that is George Washington in the window quitely waiting for the Nations's 250th Celebration in July when he and Martha once visited the Adam Good Tavern back in 1791.

Ambassadors is regularly OPEN: Saturdays 11 am - 4 pm
or other days by prior appointment.
