About the Artist: Christopher Stout (Born in Maryland) is a New York City-based artist who utilizes the tools of abstraction with industrial materials as a process for activating q***r life and histories by means of alternative process sculpture. Stout utilizes diverse elements, including wood, plaster, cement, shredded writing, textiles, metal, resin, and paper pulp, to create a visual, physical language highlighting “otherness”. Stout graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude, Humanities in May 2025. He is a student in the Master of Fine Arts Program at the School of Visual Arts, with an expected completion date of May 2027.

Hudson Valley artist Matthew Izzo (b. 1971) is celebrated for his abstract nature paintings, shaped by exploring chance and random occurrences. Izzo incorporates bold brush strokes and patterns made with oil and acrylic paints. His vibrant and colorful paintings use gestures and movements inspired by the landscapes of The Catskills, Hudson Valley, and his travels across America and abroad.
