We often get asked: “When should I replace my vacuum?”
This question is difficult to answer, as we have seen some models last well past their expectancy. While most quality vacuums are in an 8-10 year range, many factors can shorten this. What we can advise you to do is much like your automobile care, and have your vacuum serviced regularly. Things to look for on a possible failing machine would be: loss of suction, broken parts, or if parts become unavailable, frequent repairs, burning smells, and more. Many other factors come into this decision too, including a change in where you live, lifestyle, pets, kids, and others.
We recommend that you stop in and let us service your machine, from there, we can give you additional feedback.
