We are Sweet Medicine Drums, a company based in Taos, New Mexico. We specialize in custom hand-made Native American drums, which are similar to those used at pow wows, drumming circles, ceremonial drumming, and shamanic drumming groups. s from the Taos Pueblo. We use only top quality materials and non-toxic inks. The drums are stretched and strung in the traditional way, using natural, top grain rawhide. They come in three sizes: 14", 16" and 18" diameter and may be ordered with or without designs in round or octagonal. Our designs are hand-silk screened by owner Lynn Wozniak, using non-toxic inks guaranteed not to chip, fade, scratch or impair the drum's superb tone. The drums are radiantly beautiful, portable,affordable and easy for a beginner to play. A perfect gift for all ages, they are an outstanding musical instrument, a beautiful wall hanging, an authentic (signed) Native American craft item, and an important wellness tool.

Just returned from Santa Fe where I gave a two hour workshop in a Tee P*e on drumming and wellness to a beautiful group of women from all over the country who were in NM on a retreat. Their group was called "Family Voices" and they work with special needs children. We had a great time. I will put up a photo soon.
