We accept goods for in-store credit. "Re-threads for Gear Heads" offers consigned gear and equipment for the multitude of Taos seasonal sports - skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, mountain biking, ice and rock climbing, hiking, biking, camping and backpacking. A part-time position guaranteed 15+ hours a week working one day a week and picking up shifts for our senior employees. Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday availability bonus.

Job requirements:
• Work independently & alone in the shop
• Able to problem solve & self-start
• Good people skills & conflict resolution
• Computer skills
• Fashion sense: eye for detail - will be pricing incoming inventory
• Knowledge of outdoor gear a plus
• Light cleaning & tidying
• Able to ring up sales, run credit cards & handle cash
• One year commitment

Hey Peeps! Re-threads hopes you are all doing well, staying healthy, and enjoying the sunshine. We regret to say that Re-threads was closed today and will continue to be closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday this coming week. Our family, thus far, is okay but is quarantining due to Covid. The magical Hannah will be working the shop tomorrow, FRIDAY, so go get your shopping fix!

Addendum: For all you shoppers peace of mind no one working the shop has tested positive for covid.

UPDATE! After working out some logistics with the lovely Re-thread's staff and getting COVID safe practices in place (air filter check, contactless thermometer check) Re-thread's is ready to open! Re-thread's will reopen WEDNESDAY December 16th. See you soon!
