Some of Pennsylvania's major hatches have occurred lately, or are in the process of happening. One of Pa's biggest mayflies has appeared on many northern tier streams in the past few days; and everyone should remember how good the spinner fall is for catching big trout. So get your Coffin Flies out of your boxes and experience that spinner fall. Tight Lines, My Friends.

We now have leeches in stock ($5.50/dozen) and a few suckers, also. Get your line wet and catch a Monster.

Our eight (8) rather-large drawers of flies are getting full. Fly Fisherman, get in and check out our extensive collection for of all your fly needs. We've been busy, busy, busy.....for you. Now is the time to stock those fly boxes. The hatches in PA are picking up. May & June have the most Mayfly, Caddisfly, Stonefly, & Midge hatches all year. Tight Lines

We just received our new minnows for the week. We now have Small, Medium, & Large Fatheads, AND we have the large Shiners (not trout shiners) for the river fishermen. Also, be aware that our distributor has no butterworms and no trout shiners for the season. All gone. Sorry, Good Folk; but the trout fishermen are catching plenty of trout on waxworms and medium/small fatheads. So don't pass up the opportunity. Most local waters are chock-full of trout; AND some lunkers here and there.

Straub Brewery has tagged trout and stocked them in local streams. For over 30 years, Straub Brewery has proudly supported local angling traditions, bringing together cold beer and cold streams for an unforgettable season. Trout fishing isn’t just a pastime—it’s a way of life for many Straub drinkers.
If you’re lucky enough to reel in a Straub tagged trout, anglers 21+ can redeem their tag for a case of Straub beer. And for young fishermen, there’s a case of pop waiting as a reward.
