Frustration over the ammo shortage has created some pretty fun conspiracy theories. These are probably the top three: 1) companies are stockpiling their product to drive up demand; 2) ammo plants have shutdown completely; 3) ammo companies are in cahoots to stop selling to civilians and are now sell...

GUN OWNERS, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION:

You heard it from me first, the BATFE is now gearing up to put the final nail in the coffin for stabilizing braces after the ordeal with the Q Honey badger pistol. If you want a summary, continue reading my post. If you don't trust me as a credible source, you can get the information straight from the horses mouth with my Google Drive link to the 16 page ATF document, in its entirety. I have included it below.

This 16 page draft copy that was recently submitted for pre-publishing review by the ATF, presents -- among other very concerning things -- a sweeping list of criteria that will determine whether or not a pistol with a stabilizing brace should be considered a "short barreled rifle" or "short barreled shotgun" and subject to the purview of the National Fi****ms Act of 1934. Short barreled rifles and shotguns are subject to the NFA per the Gun Control Act of 1968. Ownership of unregistered short barreled rifles and short barreled shotguns is a felony. You can familiarize yourself with the GCA of 1968 here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Control_Act_of_1968

The sweeping criteria outlined in the document by the ATF include, but are not limited to:

- the pistol being too heavy to be fired with one hand

- the magazine being used with the pistol has a capacity and weight that makes the pistol impractical to fire with one hand

- whether or not the caliber of the pistol is practical for firing with one hand

- the type of optic being used on the pistol not being functional for use with a pistol brace, when the brace is used correctly

- whether or not the pistol has a fore grip

- the angle and distance of the end of the brace relative to the trigger.

- the surface area of the end of the brace

- the similarities of appearance between a brace and a butt stock

The list goes on guys. Should this ruling take effect, the only ways to remain compliant with the law are to do one of the following:

1) register all fi****ms with barrel lengths under 16 inches and a stabilizing brace attached as "short barreled rifles" or "short barreled shotguns" (the registrations will be expedited and the $200 tax stamp waived)

2) remove the brace from your pistol or shotgun and destroy it

3) surrender the brace to the ATF for destruction

4) surrender your entire firearm to the ATF.

Should these rulings take effect and you're found to be outside of compliance, you'll be subject to civil penalties and fines.

I have attached a google drive link to this document so everyone can read it for themselves and make the necessary preparations. You'll find that my post is a summary of the information contained in that document, and I urge you to read it because I know I left pertinent information out regarding how the ATF has the power to do this, more criteria, and how they'll determine what is a legitimate use of a pistol brace and what is an SBR.

AND they're only giving a 14 day public commentary period -- the Gun Control Act of 1968 mandates a 90 day minimum public commentary period on proposed ATF guidances to prevent their rulings from flying under the public radar. So I'm pretty confident they're breaking the law as well, but I'm no lawyer and as we all know, the government just has to make the laws -- not follow them.

PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH OTHER GUN OWNERS YOU KNOW. It may apply to them if they own a pistol brace, and it's better to know what's coming ahead of time.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to share some news regarding our company and branding 📰

We have submitted paperwork with the ATF to change our license type from a Type 01 Dealer, to a Type 07 Manufacturer with 02 SOT. With that will come a rebranding of our company.

What does that mean for you?

First, you will see "Wartime Fi****ms" rebranded as "Ramdas Armament and Munitions" across social media. We expect that change to take place shortly after our paperwork is approved, likely during the first quarter of 2021.

Second, WHEN THIS CHANGE IS APPROVED by the ATF, you will be able to buy, sell and transfer all of your NFA items with us! That includes, but is not limited to, items such as Short Barreled Rifles, Suppressors, Short Barreled Shotguns, Machine Guns and other items that full under the restrictions of the National Fi****ms Act of 1934.

We have long wished to enter this exciting sector of the fi****ms industry, and with our highly personalized approach to customer service, we hope to be your choice for all of your NFA/Class 3 needs. When this service comes available, you guys and gals will be the first to know.

Our company is evolving, and we appreciate everyone who has shown us support along the way! Here's to a bright and 2nd Amendment-friendly 2021 🙏
