We are riding into spooky season! Can you feel the shift in the air? Halloween decorations have started going up all around Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown and more and more tourists are arriving as the fall season approaches! We can’t wait to greet you all 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐫𝐬 and help you find the perfect treasures to take home! Don’t miss us located inside Pretty Funny Vintage in a beautiful yellow Victorian on S. Broadway! We are here 7 days a week for your shopping needs 11am-5pm.
We can’t wait to greet tourists and locals alike this spooky season.

The video footage in this reel was taken Historic Hudson Valley’s Twilight Village which begins 10/2 and concludes 10/31! It’s definitely a great event to get in the Halloween spirit with a Headless Horseman sighting, storytelling, a nightmare market and more!

We are so excited for the Friends of Sleepy Hollow carnival coming up! It’s August 20th-23rd in Kingsland Point Park. Admission to the carnival is free, but for unlimited rides, you can purchase a wristband for $35! Celebrate the final days of summer at the Friends of Sleepy Hollow summer carnival!

August 20th-21st: Carnival starts at 5pm
August 22nd: Carnival starts at 4pm
August 23rd: Carnival starts at 3pm

You may notice Washington Irving’s infamous Headless Horseman is depicted on the front of this 100% cotton bag, AND in a stunning teal color! We love using teal in our designs. We are so thankful The Village Confectionery has opened their doors this summer! It’s certainly made things sweeter here in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown! Have you visited the Village Confectionery yet? We especially love the caramel fudge and peppermint patties!

As we move closer to Halloween, we are so excited to see what sort of treats they bring us in the fall! You can find The Village Confectionery on Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow! Grab some sweets at the confectionery, then stop by and see us for some souvenirs!

A new cafe, florist and event space has arrived in Tarrytown! 🚨☕️💐 A warm welcome to Dahlia's Song located on Broadway just a short walk away from our shop! Dahlia’s song offers fresh cut flowers, delicious Vietnamese coffee and a cozy and relaxing space which can also be booked for events! We have a feeling we’ll be stopping here quite a lot before work and during our lunch breaks. 😁

What a time we had at the Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival! In addition to enjoying a fintastic parade and MerMarket we encountered the Headless Horseman himself! 😮

This legendary headless specter has inspired a number of our souvenir designs which you can see on our mugs, tote bags and sweatshirts! Have you spotted the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow before? He rides all 4 seasons but you have the best chance of spotting him in the fall. Let him know you’re a supporter by rocking one of our sweatshirts or totes. He might just spare your head! 😉

The Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival returns and has been rescheduled to July 19th, a brand new date with a much better weather forecast! Enjoy a parade, vendors, food, incredible costumes, pirates, mermaids, Hudson River views and more! 🌊

The festival is from 1-5pm on Sunday in Kingsland Point Park and tickets are $10 (children under 10 are free!) Sleepy Hollow residents can also receive free tickets at the Senior Center until Friday at 2pm and Sleepy Hollow Bookshop until Saturday at close.

Stop by Sleepy Hollow Souvenirs located inside Pretty Funny Vintage if you’re in the area! We’d love to see all of your amazing costumes! 🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️ We may just have the perfect accent to your costume and we also have an assortment of tote bags to carry all your items and hats to protect you from the summer heat!
