Exciting news, next week we’ll be driving through San Francisco on Sunday, August 16th & Monday, August 17th to pick up a collection of instruments that we’ll be bringing back to Norman's for consignment!
Since we’ll already have a truck on the road, we wanted to offer you the opportunity to add any guitars you’d like to consign for a discounted rate!
By joining this collection trip, you'll only pay $45 instead of $90 in collection fees.
If you’d like to take advantage of this, please let us know as soon as possible. Email us the number of instruments, along with the make, model, and location of each one at [email protected]
Every instrument is fully insured in transit for up to $500,000. Once we receive your list, we’ll also calculate the current market value to make sure each guitar is covered appropriately.
What happens when they arrive at the shop???
Each guitar is authenticated, set up, restrung, and photographed professionally. A detailed listing is created with full specifications and description. All associated costs are covered upfront by Norman's Rare Guitars and only deducted at the point of sale.
Our consignment rates
Under $3k = 20%
$3k–$50k = 15%
$50k–$100k = 12.5%
$100k+ = 10%
We also charge an $85 authentication/listing fee per instrument, which covers setup, fresh strings, photography, and listing. There are no upfront costs — everything is deducted after the sale.
