EARLY PRINT RUN NUMBERS FOR DELTA REIGN VS. PITCH BLACK!
‎
The vendor and distributor scuttlebutt is officially rolling in, and we’re getting our first clear look at how print allocations for Delta Reign stack up against Pitch Black.
‎
Across the board, traditional sealed SKU volumes are trending down compared to the last release, with blister formats seeing the steepest drops:
‎
* Booster Boxes: 11% less
* Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs): 5% less
* Booster Bundles: 4% less
* 3-Pack Blisters: 33% less
* Sleeved Booster Packs: 29% less
‎
On the flip side, we are hearing that single-pack checklane blisters and Build & Battle boxes are seeing higher allocation numbers to compensate. The big picture behind these tighter numbers is manufacturing bandwidth: Pokémon's new printing facility is actively scaling up and is projected to be running at 100% capacity in about 18 months, which should finally ease supply constraints across upcoming eras.
‎
Until that facility is fully fired up, keep a close eye on product availability for Delta Reign—especially if you're hunting for booster boxes and three-pack blisters on release day!

PACK 47 MAGIC: WE HIT OUR FIRST 30TH CELEBRATION SIR!
‎
Forty-seven packs in, and the Special Illustration Rare drought is officially over! A congratulations to my son BaM for pulling the absolute centerpiece card of the opening: the Sylveon ex Special Illustration Rare (153/128)!
‎
The artwork on this card in person is completely unreal. Illustrated by You Iribi, the floral explosion, vibrant pastel colors, and the gold 30th celebration stamp make this one of the prettiest modern hits Pokémon has ever designed.

It's really pretty.

Our customer just received their 2006 EX Legend Maker Mew Reverse Foil PSA 9, and they sent over this unbelievable side-by-side shot paired right next to their matching Legend Maker Gengar Reverse Foil PSA 8!

Seeing both of these mid-2000s stamped grails united side by side is pure collector perfection. Finding clean, high-grade reverse holos from the EX era is tough enough on its own, but seeing a collection milestone like this come together is easily the best part of doing what we do.

THE ENTIRE COMPILATION IS TIED INTO FF7 REVELATION! I'm so glad they continue to reiterate this. Don't let us down.
‎
Square Enix is officially going all-in for the grand finale. Director Naoki Hamaguchi just revealed that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will feature direct connections to every single branch of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII!
‎
Hamaguchi stated that while the team wove elements across the entire remake trilogy, Revelation specifically integrates ties to Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus.
‎
With Deepground already teased in earlier chapters and Vincent Valentine stepping into a playable role, having the wider lore, backstory, and future aftermath wrapped directly into the core story is going to make this finale hit on an entirely different level for longtime fans.
‎
Which spin-off piece are you most excited to see woven into the main narrative? Deepground lore from Dirge, more Zack Fair and Turks history, or direct setup for Advent Children? Let us know below!

PSA BACKLOG TRACKER: WHERE THINGS STAND SINCE THE VALUE TIER SHUTDOWN!
‎
When PSA paused Value submissions back in June, the active backlog sat near 10 million units, with an end goal of grinding it down to 5 million before reopening the cheaper tiers. After summer submission waves pushed the peak to 12.4 million in late July, operational momentum has steadily picked up.
‎
Here is how the numbers have tracked over the last four months:
‎
June 2: ~10 Million units (Value tiers officially paused)
June 30: ~12 Million units
July 14: 11 Million units
July 28: 12.4 Million units (Peak backlog from deadline rushes and summer shows)
August 11: 11.85 Million units
August 25: 10.9 Million units (Plano, Texas facility operational)
September 8: 9.9 Million units
September 22: ~9 Million units (Frankfurt facility online; Standard tier opened on September 14)
‎
That marks a clean drop of nearly 3.4 million cards since the late July peak. PSA confirmed that previously submitted Value and Bulk orders retain priority over new incoming Standard submissions, but we are still roughly 4 million units away from that 5-million threshold needed for Value tiers to officially return.
‎
Are you holding raw cards until Value tiers reopen, or biting the bullet and submitting at higher levels?

I'm holding a GIGANTIC stack of cards for when they open up value...

ACTIVISION IS TAKING OVER HALO!
‎
I'm honestly sad to see another massive studio shake-up hit Xbox, but part of me is really excited to see what happens next.
‎
Halo desperately needs a better game and stronger lore. In my book, Call of Duty doesn't have either of those right now, but since Halo has been struggling with both for years, why not give someone new a shot? It makes sense to this old Halo lover.
‎
Microsoft just confirmed that a brand-new, purpose-built team inside Activision is taking over the next mainline Halo title, while Halo Studios (formerly 343) gets stripped down to basic support for Infinite and older games.
‎
It marks the end of an era for 343, but maybe a clean slate is the only way Master Chief ever gets back to his glory days.
‎
I couldn't turn down this excellent image - LOL. If it's good DLC, I'm totally fine with optional streams of revenue and joy.
