Hello. I'm nick named the "Tractor seat" plant, but my real name is Farfugium Gigantea. I get my name from my resemblance to the old John Deer tractor seats. Did you know I survived this last winter in many places throughout central Florida. As a matter of fact I can survive all the way up to USDA zone 7! I am a hardy perennial grown for my massive, glossy, kidney-shaped leaves that can produce beautiful yellow, daisy-like flowers in late summer/fall and I can reach an amazing 18–30 inches in height. I love the shade but can tolerate light sun. Definitely need moist, well-drained soils. I can also keep you company indoors if you are missing mother nature in your comfy home or office! Can I go home with you?
