Hello everyone,
This is a sad post for me to have to make!
I want to start this off by saying a huge thank you for a wonderful year! I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am for all of the support at our farm trailer! I never in a million years expected to have so many of you show up and support this hobby of mine! I wish I could thank each and every one of you individually who came out to our trailer or liked/shared/followed our page and followed along with our season, but just know I am SO incredibly thankful! I met some really wonderful people and for that I am so grateful!
This does, unfortunately, mean our farm trailer is officially closed for the year of 2026. But we will be back, even bigger and better in the year of 2027!! The last couple weeks with being back to work at the school, I am unable to get out to the garden and refill the farm trailer consistently. So I decided our public season has come to an end!
This garden was a huge dream I have wished for, for a very long time. Huge thanks to my husband, children, parents, without you guys this def would not even have been remotely possible, and friends (you know who you are!) who helped me grow it to what it was, making my dreams come alive, quite literally! It provided more than I could’ve hoped for with an astonishing growing season. It put food on the table and away for winter, while simultaneously giving our community the chance to purchase healthy, safe produce at a reasonable price.
2027 has already been put into the planning process, with hopes of doubling from 20 raised beds to 40! Along with our herb boxes, flower patch, pumpkin patch, melon patches, etc! With secret plans for new patches and additions too!! (Sorry to my husband who has a never ending list haha) We also are starting our fall crops that will hopefully be ready come spring (garlic and onions). And of course I’ll be starting seeds when the time comes, ensuring we know exactly where our produce comes from!
One last exciting thing I want to share. As we begin the clean out of our garden beds, whatever we are not harvesting to preserve ourself, will be available at 1670 Cowan Drive Sand Lake, MI! Follow Sheryl Jones posts on I love Sand Lake for what she has available, along with her prices! So you can still grab the last of what is available from our garden at a different location!!! I know she was able to take a car load tonight to add to her own stand!
Thank you everyone! Times a million! See you next year!!
