Proud to be an American!

Celebrating with my blended family of seven siblings. Food, fun and fellowship. Shared with my father before he died, “Do you realize what you’ve done?” “No,” he answered quizzically. “You’ve raised seven hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding citizens. Do you know the odds against that?” “Yes, I guess I did.” And he lowered his head, smiling.

Our freedoms, including freedom of expression and the freedom to start and grow a business, provide the pathway to dreams. My dream—save as many books as possible from the landfills and share them with generations today and tomorrow. These books include stories, ideas, knowledge, wisdom, art forms and history.
