Another Look Books" opened on January 23, 1995 with the slogan "1-2-3 GO!"

In the over 26 years since, our customer base has grown from several hundred to over 24,000. We've also won numerous awards and acknowledgments, such as: 'Bookseller Of The Year' (RT Book Reviews 2011), 'Bookstore Of The Year' (Clickondetroit.Com/Vote4theBest 2009), an Honor Of Recognition (City Of Taylor 2009),

and '3rd Place Used Bookstore' (Detroit News Best Of Michigan 2005 Reader Survey). software program that allows us to provide lots of unique & special services, such as Customer Reading History and Customer Want List. We've hosted several author events - including an impromptu st******se by the Fed Ex guy during one memorable autographing with two historical romance writers! After a flood, last spring 2016, we needed to close temporarily for clean-up and extensive repairs. We then decided to take advantage of this time to renovate and update the whole store. While it took awhile to get everything done and the bookstore back up & running again, we're excited to say our "'Special Place For Readers!" is EVEN BETTER Than Before!
