Why Fresh Fuel Matters...

Hey everyone, Dakota here.

Can I let you in on a little secret? One of the most common reasons lawn mowers end up in our service shop has nothing to do with worn-out parts. More often than not...It's old fuel.

Gas doesn't last forever and after sitting for a while, it starts to break down, leaving deposits that can plug up your carburetor and fuel system and make your mower hard to start. Or it keeps it from starting at all.

The good news? It's easy to avoid.

✔️ Use fresh fuel whenever you can.
✔️ If your mower is going to sit for a while, add a fuel stabilizer.
✔️ Don't keep gasoline around all season long. Buy what you'll use and replace it when it gets old.

A couple of simple habits can save you from a frustrating Saturday morning when the grass is growing and your mower won't cooperate.

That's what The Power Plan is all about. Sharing simple maintenance tips that help your equipment last longer and keep you out of the repair shop.
