Kylie Spafford is our 4th Yoakum lady on the "get to know" list. Kylie is a lifelong resident of Freestone Co. She started school in Dew and moved to TISD in the 6th grade. She graduated THS with the class of 2016. Kylie married Jarrod, a good ol boy from Elkhart, in 2021. They have 2 of the cutest kiddos you'll ever see! Kylie has worked with me, since 2020, on several of my "interesting endeavors". Lol She has been with us at Yoakum for 3 years. She is our tech person, head engraver, hat & shirt presser, floral designer, along with anything else that is asked of her. We would be lost without her! Stop by & say hello to one of the kindest people you will ever meet. 🩷

Happy Weekend All!!! 🎉 Here comes #3. Our sweet Maggie. Maggie is the very favorite daughter of Bryan & Stephanie Teer. She holds down the fort for us at The Yoakum Mercantile on Saturdays. She is a senior at THS and is looking forward to college next year. In her free time she likes to read, cook, & (I hear) is a really good baker. A little birdie told me that Maggie is an old soul. She enjoys old music & shopping for antiques. She is a great blessing to her Mom & dad, and also to us. In this day and time, its a breath of fresh air to know such a lovely, kind teenager. THEY DO EXIST! 😂 She makes a mean TikTok too. We are so happy to have her as part of The Yoakum Mercantile girl gang. 🌷

Round 2 of "get to know" the ladies of Yoakum Mercantile. Carla Johnson O'Connell is a true blue hometown girl. Well, true orange & white only hometown girl. 😂 IYKYK Born & raised in Teague, she graduated with the THS Class of '83. You may even know her daughter. As she too is a hometown girl. Carla and Kevin have been married for 27 years. They have one son. Carla has one, beautiful granddaughter (looks like her mom, who looks like her mom) & two pups she considers her granddogs. When she's not helping out her mom and dad, she likes to watch sports (especially UT🤘) and love on her little fur babies. She has worked with me for 9 years. At this point, she "IS" my right arm. She knows The Yoakum Mercantile inside out. She would be glad to answer any questions you might have. Stop by and introduce yourself, or if you've known her for years, come say hello. 😊🧡

Happy Sunday everyone! As promised, here is our 1st "get to know" lady of Yoakum. Tammy Jones Has been a resident of Freestone County for more than 30 years now. She graduated high-school, in Louisiana, in 1991. You know, back in the late 1900's. Lol Tammy has been married to Jay Jones for 18 years and together they have 7 adult children and 4 grandkids (that they adore).
You may have seen her dancing skills in a previous reel we did. I'm so sorry about that. 🤭 But I promise what she lacks in getting her groove on she makes up for with her floral creativeness. She is a great designer. When she isn't expressing herself in flowers, she likes to travel, spend time with her family, and is very active in her church. She has been with The Yoakum Mercantile for almost 2 years. & we can only hope thats just the beginning. Stop by and say hello to her. You're guaranteed to be greeted with a friendly smile.
