Only two blocks from Lift #8 of the Telluride Ski Resort, we’re probably the only guitar shop in North America with a ski rack in the back. A short walk down the street from the Sheridan Opera House and Telluride Town Park (the venue for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Ride Festival, Telluride Blues & Brews, and countless other top-shelf music events), we’re a shop accustomed to serving high-level talent, but at the same time, we take pride in putting the first instrument into a beginner’s hands. In an industry that is all too focused on big-box stores and high volume, we’re a low-traffic, small-town shop that focuses on attention to detail and expertise backed up by quality instruments.

We really dig the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water. It’s a modulation effect that randomly combines, chorus, vibrato, and fl**ge. Here we have it set up to sound like an old, worn-out cassette tape that is getting snagged in the machine. It’s super unique and totally addictive. The 1953 Gibson ES-350 is pretty slick, too.
