We are an artisan chocolate company providing some of the world’s finest 5-star hotels with chocolate amenities. Our new store now includes farm products – honey, farm-fresh eggs, and hand-made soap. Coming soon: sugarplum farm edible landscape nursery and educational center. Our zoo also has some of the world’s smallest horses, a beautiful baby zebra, mini donkeys, a movie star alpaca, a mini cow that loves to pose for selfies, all kinds of goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys ,quails and of course.. our ducks that started it all!

Meet Lani, the heart behind Sugarplum Zoo and Chocolates. 💜

She created Sugarplum to be more than a zoo. It’s a place where families can get close to the animals, spend meaningful time together, and feel like part of the Sugarplum family.

What began as a special experience for groups with special needs eventually opened to the public, while continuing to welcome the groups that inspired it all.

After becoming a semifinalist on MasterChef, Lani taught herself the art of candy making and brought another passion to life: artisan chocolates.

Come for the animals, stay for the chocolates, and leave feeling like family.

If you have experience with livestock, enjoy working outdoors, and aren’t afraid of hard work, we’d love to hear from you!

Position is for part-time

Duties are to include:
-Working outdoors.
-Grooming/bathing.
-Cleaning enclosures.
-Feeding.
-Cleaning/Filling water troughs.
-Health monitoring of each animal.
-Wound care.
-Basic repairs and maintenance.
