It’s the weekend. It’s Batman Day. There’s always the new comics too. Come down from 11-7 today, buy any Batman or Batman Family back issue and get the Batman of Two Worlds release for free. Hope to see you at the shop!

Meet creator, publisher, and writer Shawn Demumbrum ( Shawn Demumbrum ) and pick up the new issue of Purge, in this one-day, non-stop three-store super-signing. The Ash Ave Comics stop on the S’mores mini tour is today from 2PM-4PM at the shop, so swing by to grab some books, and show some support for the valley’s local and independent comic creators.

It’s the first new comic book day of September, the end of summer is…a nice thought. An even better thought? Having a stack of new comics to read this week! It’s a huge week for new titles, there’s a slew of new on the rack this week, and there’s new printings this week of Absolute Batman issues 1-20 and the annual. So much good stuff it could fill two bags, a short box, a long box! A comic shop! Okay, that’s enough of that. Come down and see us, our doors are open until 7 tonight. Looking forward to seeing you in the shop.

Swipe through for some of the latest graphic novels, manga, and trade paperback collections available at the shop. What you see is just a portion of what comes through the shop, as sometimes titles sell out before we can even get them photo’d for the gram, and sometimes a few titles fall through the cracks. Heck, some of these titles you might only find in the shop, all the more reason to swing by and get some good reads for cooling off this week.

It’s new comic book day at Ash Avenue Comics! Our doors are open, the AC is working, and we’ve got the latest and/or greatest in new comics, graphic novels, and manga releases for this roasted mid-August Wednesday. For all of the ASU students about to start classes tomorrow, come by the shop to get your text (comic) bookstore to get your brain limbered up for the semester ahead.

Back from SDCC, it’s once again time for our favorite weekly tradition, new comic book day! This is the last week of releases for July, and also a fifth Wednesday of new releases this month, so you’ll see some annuals, and odds and ends to pad the release schedule for this extra week.

I hope to have a post up with some of the exclusives we brought back from SDCC that will be making their way to the wall in-store. Stay tuned, and read more comics!
