Laminate vs LVP. Same look, very different performance. Here's what actually separates them. 🤔

🪵 Laminate has a wood composite core. It looks beautiful and is budget-friendly, but it is NOT waterproof. Standing water can cause it to swell and warp.

💧 LVP is 100% vinyl all the way through, making it completely waterproof and a better fit for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

🦶 Feel: LVP is slightly softer and quieter underfoot. Laminate can sound hollow without quality underlayment.

Neither is the wrong choice. It just depends on the room and how your household lives.
