I was an M60A3 TTS tanker for several years before going on to the M1. I noticed these M60s beside the GA State Defense Force Armory by the GA ARNG Armory in Rome, Georgia. I love to be able to see and touch these old girls, but it pains me to see them in such need of TLC. Once a Soldier, Always a Soldier.

Hey all! I recently had an opportunity to stop by the Aviation History and Technology Center in Marietta, Georgia. The museum is located adjacent to the famous World War Two Bell Bomber Plant, better known as Air Force Plant 6 or Lockheed Martin.
The center has various military aircraft parked for examination including a C-141B that visitors can go inside and walk through the cargo deck and cockpit. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and took their time explaining the aircraft to all visitors. If you are in the area, it's well worth a stop. You can check out their hours online by Google or Facebook.
