On the grounds of the Kennesaw National Battlefield Park near Marietta, Georgia the Marietta Kiawanis Foundation has presented the "9/11 Field of Flags" tribute which honors every life lost on that tragic day 25 years ago. Displayed in rows in front of the mountain, the flags softly sway in the slight breeze, a solemn and thought provoking reminder of an event that forever changed America.

I was an M60A3 TTS tanker for several years before going on to the M1. I noticed these M60s beside the GA State Defense Force Armory by the GA ARNG Armory in Rome, Georgia. I love to be able to see and touch these old girls, but it pains me to see them in such need of TLC. Once a Soldier, Always a Soldier.
