Hello my crazy beautiful friends! Fall is approaching, whatever the thermometer says, and with it we're doing a lot of fun rearranging at the shop! We just got a new roof to fix a water leak which had been worsening since the tornado a couple years back, and I'm working on turning the yellow room into my hat atelier. So we're doing some serious liquidation- stop by on Tuesdays (or anytime you see me there!) to pick up super cheap or even FREE deals on lots and lots of stuff! This Tuesday the 15th I'm giving away books. No purchase necessary - if you like books, come and choose as many as you like. Most glassware and plants are deeply, deeply discounted. Look for my yard sale sometime this November, when we open up the garage and offer up the backstock! It's going to be super exciting.

Greetings, my crazy-with-the-heat friends! I'll be around the shop both Monday and Tuesday of this week. It's time for a little reset as I convert one of my front rooms into my new millinery workroom space! I'll be offering ridiculous deals on furniture as i attempt to make a little room for supplies and machines. As always, I'm happy to meet you by appointment with a little advance notice, or catch me by chance if you see my car!

Hi folks! It's been a while since I posted anything. I want to let you know I'm still around, but am now holding hours by chance or by appointment. Typically I'm available on Tuesdays, just message me a few days in advance if you'd like to come browse!

I'm working on folding more of my custom millinery studio Caveat Emptor Costumes into the shop, including consolidating workspace into one of the front rooms. To facilitate this, I'm offering huge discounts on any and all furnishings in the store. Tables, chairs, dressers, buffets, wardrobes, and more at garage sale prices. Make me an offer and help me clean house!

Hello esteemed friends, followers, and fans! Due to ongoing commitments around estate maintenance, I am sad to announce that La Folie will be DISCONTINUING regular Saturday hours for the foreseeable future. It's simply overwhelming for me to try to stuff four houses' worth of tasks into a single open weekend day. Thanks for your understanding, and remember that we DO accept appointments with a couple days' notice in addition to our regular Tuesday hours!

Hello friends! La Folie will not be open today 9/17, but we'll be on the shop Thursday as we get new garage doors! Stop in for super linens sale - $1 or less on all linens through September.

Greetings mes folles! We are pleased to welcome the cooling breezes of fall. La Folie will resume our fall hours of Tuesdays and Saturdays. Look for our sign outside or the mannequin on the porch between ~12pm and 4pm. Don't forget you can also message or text me for an appointment outside of the usual hours, and keep those costume and fall party season shopping requests coming!

Greetings, my friends! I am looking for a small mannequin or dress form for clothing display. Will happily trade for one of my slightly larger forms. Message me or stop by on a summer Tuesday - I'll be out of town many weekends through August!

Dear fans, friends, and followers - it is that time of year when the hot summer days lead me to seek happy vacation weekends and cooler recreations. So, starting immediately, hours at La Folie will be by appointment, though I will be around many Tuesdays between 12 and 4. Do be sure to drop me a message iif you are traveling in to shop, just to make sure I am there! If you are passing by and the sign is out, that means I'm there and probably lounging in my comfy nook, ready for drop ins!
