‼️ MTG: The Hobbit Product Update 📣
▪️We wanted to give everyone a quick update regarding The Hobbit release starting tonight at midnight!
- As many of you have probably seen, Wizards of the Coast has announced delays on Play Booster Boxes. We can confirm that this is true for us. We’ve received everything for the set except our Play Booster Boxes, which are currently scheduled to arrive next week. That means we’ll have them available for the official release date, but not during this weekend’s Prerelease events.
‼️ Now for Collector Boosters…
- The amount of DMs, phone calls, and questions we’ve received about Collector Boxes has been incredible. With the excitement surrounding this set, it’s clear we simply don’t have enough boxes to satisfy everyone.
- To make things as fair as possible, we’ve decided to break down all Collector Booster Boxes and sell them as 3 Collector Booster Packs per person while supplies last.
- Our Box Toppers will be used as Commander Pod prize support throughout the weekend!
- We typically receive around 20 Collector Booster Boxes each release. If we sold sealed boxes starting at our midnight event and let everyone get a box, they would likely be gone immediately. Leaving everyone attending Friday’s Prerelease without any opportunity to purchase Collector Boosters from us at MSRP.
- This approach lets us spread the product across as many players and collectors as possible while continuing our commitment to fair, MSRP pricing.
- We know some of you were hoping to purchase sealed Collector Boxes, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our goal has always been to make sure as many members of the Black Rose community as possible get a chance to enjoy these amazing products. We do apologize for people this upsets. But we think this is the right decision for the community to all get a fair shot 🙏
