Slowly but surely, this flock keeps getting better. I’ve worked hard to build a solid foundation, and bringing in new bloodlines to improve overall quality while preserving the traits I love in my Black Copper Marans.

Breeding isn’t about creating the perfect bird overnight, but I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this flock.

This might be my favorite part of what I do. 🌸 Seeing our locally farmed dahlias thriving in a customer’s garden never gets old. From a tuber here on the farm to a beautiful display in someone’s backyard, it feels a little like sending pieces of the farm out into the world and getting to watch them bloom. ❤️
