Today my sweet Jace turns 13. 🤍

When I became pregnant with him, I made the difficult decision to stop commuting to Indianapolis to do nails. I was leaving behind a business I had spent around 15 years building, along with wonderful clients and coworkers who had become such an important part of my life.

Jace made me a mom and changed the direction of my career—but he didn’t end it. I’m so proud that I found the courage to begin again, rebuild my nail business closer to home, and eventually create SAVVY.

Today I’m celebrating the boy who changed my path, the people who were part of my first chapter, and the beautiful business and life I’ve been able to build since. Happy 13th birthday, Jace. You changed my world in the very best way. 🤍

A little behind-the-scenes of being a one-woman show. 🤍

At SAVVY, I’m your nail tech, receptionist, scheduler, cleaner, supply manager, bookkeeper…and everything in between. 😊 With my waitlist growing, I’m always looking for little ways to use my time better while still taking great care of you.

One thing I’ve noticed: when you have your hands AND feet done in the same visit, I don’t need all the extra time that’s built into two separate appointments for checking out, rescheduling, cleaning and resetting.

So as I’m working on my November/holiday schedule, I’m adding:

✨ SAVVY Spa Session — Hands + Feet

If you want both done in one visit, this is the option to choose. No need to pick two separate services—we’ll customize your hand service and pedicure when you arrive, and pricing is based on what you receive.

It’s a simple change that helps me open up a little more availability without rushing your time with me. 🤍

A little peek at why my schedule is intentionally limited. 🤍

I absolutely love what I do at SAVVY, but being present for my family is pretty important to me too.

I know some of you have been looking for appointments and not finding a time that works, so when I can, I’m going to open an extra hour or two here and there to help accommodate you.

If you don’t see what you need, make sure to join the waitlist! I’m always looking at it when I have a little extra time I can open up.

✨ I’ve added a little extra time this Thursday afternoon AND opened several more hours Friday 18th!

And I may have a few ideas brewing for ways to offer you even more options in the future. 🤍
