💜 Day 5 . . . WE MADE IT! 😂

Whew, y’all . . . we are WIPED. 🤣

I realized sometime today that I had been TERRIBLE about taking pictures with people this week, so I tried to make up for it before I didn’t get another chance. So many hugs, selfies, friends, and people I absolutely adore. 💜

And then it was time to PACK.

Y’all . . . SO. MANY. EMPTY. TUBS. 😳🙌
Because PLAY PEOPLE ROCK!! Thank you for shopping with us, supporting our little shop, and taking so many Serendipity goodies home with you!

And THEN . . . somehow we performed an APT miracle. 😂 We are usually the LAST people dragging ourselves out of the vendor hall, but today we were completely packed and loaded in 1 hour and 37 minutes!! RECORD TIME! 🏆

So obviously after five days of conference chaos, selling miniatures, laughing, hugging, and packing up an entire booth . . . we went to the Mall of America. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Because apparently we make excellent life choices when exhausted.

What a WEEK. 💜

💜 Day 4 at APT . . . and apparently Mama has gone PURPLE! 🤣

Our Counseling Chef decided Mama needed a wig . . . and of COURSE it had to be her color! 💜😂

Then we had a special delivery for our Chef — orange M&Ms, because we know her favorite color! 🧡

Meanwhile, Aunt Peggy discovered the Mindful Miniatures and More booth . . . which means we now have new weighted stuffies. Because apparently she can’t be trusted to walk around the vendor hall unsupervised. 🤣 (I love my new dragon though. 🥰)

The rest of the day was filled with miniatures, hugs, laughter, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and just a whole lot of FUN. 💜

FYI . . . the Serendipity crew happily accepts gifts, hugs, snacks, and new friends. 😂

Tomorrow is our LAST DAY before we pack this whole crazy booth back up . . . come see us! 💜

DAY THREE at APT! 💜

Once again, NEW MINIS ARRIVED . . . and somehow we just keep finding places to put them. 😂 At this point, I’m not asking questions. Just put out the minis!

Bianca could be found PAINTING . . . on the floor. 🤷‍♀️🎨 Because when painting is your self-care, you make yourself a little floor studio wherever you happen to be.

Jeff and Leanne kept the shelves FULL because y’all keep EMPTYING them. 😂

And Amasa — Playful Connections Sandtray student AND faithful Serendipity customer — brought us CHEESECAKE! YUMMMMM. 😋💜 Clearly we ate first and remembered the picture later. 🤣 Thanks, Amasa Colby!!! Brownie points for you!!! Or wait . . . is it cheesecake points??? 🤪🤣

Mama and Tanika took a DANCE BREAK 💃 while Aunt Peggy, in her little Carmen shirt, practiced her CALM MEDITATION in the middle of the chaos. Sadly, I missed photographic evidence of that one. 😂

So . . . what does Bianca do in the evenings at APT?

Paint miniatures, of course. 😂🎨

Because apparently bringing a ridiculous amount of inventory to Minneapolis wasn’t enough . . . y’all keep BUYING IT. 💜

So for the past TWO EVENINGS, after a full day at the booth, I’ve headed back to the hotel, pulled out the paint pens, spread miniatures EVERYWHERE . . . and painted.

Some are NEW. 👀
Some are familiar FAVORITES that need to make their way back to the booth.
And some of you apparently decided we did not bring NEARLY ENOUGH of. 😂

Repaired hearts, pathways, eggshells and more have all been getting a little extra BIANCA TREATMENT before heading back to the Serendipity booth.

But here’s the thing . . . this actually IS RELAXING for me. 💜

Give me some tiny things to paint, something good playing in the background, and a little space to CREATE after a busy day surrounded by people . . . and THAT is self-care.

So technically, I haven’t been working in the evenings.

I’ve been practicing SELF-CARE. 😂🎨💜

It just happens to RESTOCK THE BOOTH at the same time.

Everybody wins. 😂

DAY TWO at APT is DONE! 💜

And y’all . . . this was the LONGEST DAY of the week. 9 AM to 8 PM at the booth, and you kept us BUSY! We are already SELLING OUT of some things . . . although you’d never know it because we brought approximately ELEVENTY BILLION minis AND still have NEW MINIS we haven’t put out yet. 🤣

Our Counseling Chef Tanika was ON POINT, with Sandy attempting to keep her in check. Who are we kidding? NOT HAPPENING. 😂

Mama was supposed to be helping Jeff check everyone out, but somehow ended up teaching the proper ways of the POOL NOODLE SWORD. ⚔️🤣 Aunt Peggy was our MASTER ASSISTANT, keeping bags organized for continuous shopping, while Leanne hopped between class and helping all of you.

And me? EVERYWHERE. 😂

But my absolute FAVORITE part???

MOMMA OWLS MINIS ARRIVED!!! 💜🦉

Our vendor family came through a HURRICANE AND TORNADOES to get here, and getting to finally hug their necks was everything. Some people simply become YOUR PEOPLE . . . Your FAMILY . . . and they are absolutely ours. 💜

We are TIRED, our feet are questioning our choices, but our hearts are VERY FULL.

Day Two . . . you were LONG, but you were GOOD.

Now . . . WHO KNOWS WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING?! 👀😂

👀 NEW MINIATURES HAVE ARRIVED AT SERENDIPITY! 👀

Okay . . . we’ve been a little busy. 😂

In the PAST MONTH ALONE, we have created OVER 50 NEW MINIATURES for Serendipity.

Yes. You read that correctly.

FIFTY. PLUS. NEW. MINIATURES. 😳

And Mama can confirm this number because she’s the one who has had to put ALL OF THEM into Shopify. 😂 Sorry, Mama. 💜

Many of them are making their in-person debut this week at APT in Minneapolis!

We’ve added new people, families, relationships, emotions, experiences, identities, and symbolic pieces—including miniatures created to represent things that can sometimes be REALLY hard to find for a sandtray.

Some are simple. Some tell an entire story without saying a word. Some made us laugh while we were creating them. And some carry some pretty BIG feelings for something so tiny.

And apparently y’all were ready for them because some have already SOLD OUT at the conference! 😳😂

These are just some of the 50+ new miniatures we’ve created in the past month! We took pictures of a bunch of them at the booth because seeing them all together really shows just how much NEW has landed at Serendipity. 💜

We’ve been working HARD to keep growing a collection that gives therapists more ways to find the person, the relationship, the experience, or the symbol that helps tell the story.

One of Mama’s favorite parts of being at APT yesterday? Getting to hand-deliver THREE October Mama’s Monthly Miniatures boxes!

Leanne, Amasa, and Kim got their boxes directly from Mama . . . and I’m pretty sure Mama was just as excited about it as they were. 😂💜

She LOVES getting to meet her Bear Cubs in person. And if you’re willing . . . there’s a pretty good chance your delivery comes with a Mama Bear hug, too. 🐻🤗

Now . . . you might get to see Leanne open her box sometime in the near future. 👀

BUT NOT YET. 😂

Most of our Bear Cubs still have their October boxes making their way to them in the mail, and we are NOT spoiling what’s inside!

So for now, Leanne has to keep those goodies under wraps. 🤐🐻📦
