Our recent Water Blaster Challenge was the perfect way to beat the summer heat! Residents had a great time shooting for points—and, of course, soaking a few staff members whenever they got the chance! 😄 A fun way to spend a hot day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of smiles.

☀️🏖️ Sunshine, laughter, and a whole lot of fun made our OVH Beach Bash a huge success! Residents searched for buried treasure in the sand, enjoyed beach volleyball, challenged each other with beach trivia, sipped on refreshing tropical drinks, and showed off their best island attire during our Hawaiian Shirt Contest.

From handfuls of treasure to unforgettable smiles, it was a wonderful afternoon celebrating summer together! 🌺🍹💙

The Oregon Veterans Home Resident Council recently hosted a Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Party to recognize the incredible staff who care for the Veterans each and every day.

The event was the Resident Council's way of saying thank you for the kindness, compassion, and dedication shown by every department throughout the Home. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, sweet treats, and heartfelt appreciation.

The Oregon Veterans Home recently enjoyed a fishing trip to the Sandy Rainbow Trout Farm!

The Veterans spent the day enjoying the outdoors, casting lines, catching fish, and making wonderful memories together. It was a beautiful day filled with fresh air, smiles, and great company.

A special shout-out to all of the amazing volunteers who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We couldn't do it without you!

OVH - The Dalles had such a wonderful time celebrating the 4th of July with our amazing community! Residents, their families, and all of our guests participated in a BBQ, face painting, balloon animal making, crafts, a live band, and so much more!

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated 250 years of freedom!

The OMSI Science Festival was a huge hit at the Oregon Veterans' Home! Residents enjoyed exploring animal pelts, insects preserved in resin, brain-teasing puzzles, and exciting science and chemistry demonstrations.

It was a fun, hands-on learning experience that sparked curiosity and plenty of conversation. Residents are already asking when OMSI will be back!
