Today we are highlighting Fair Trade Principle 6: Support Safe & Empowering Working Conditions, and we believe Mayan Hands is a great example of that.

At Mayan Hands, Artisans have a voice. They brought leaders from all 16 artisan groups together in Guatemala to discuss their community health needs. THEY helped decide where the money goes by voting on how to allocate their health and wellness budget.

Dental care became the top priority, and Artisans began receiving preventative dental care, including X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and more when needed.

Every purchase from a fair trade business helps support a more equitable world. 🌎🇬🇹

Need to let someone know you are thinking of them? These Quilling Cards are perfect to let that someone know how special they are to you. 🫶

Each handmade card starts with a printed artwork of what the card will become. Artisans use a quilling pen to thread strips of Kishu paper through the tool and swirl it to create a coil. In total, each card takes one full hour to be created! 🖋️💫

We mean it - these cards are INCREDIBLE. You have to see them in person!
