Most of you know by now that we're renovating a building right here in Thomaston, and MillTown is growing!

It's been a long process, and if you're local, you've probably driven by more than once to check on the progress (we know we do too! 😉).

The framing is done, the sheetrock is up, the finishing touches are underway... and our MillTown letters are officially on the building! Seeing our name up there made it all start to feel real.

Now comes the fun part—moving in and making it feel like home.

And to answer the question we hear approximately 47 times a day... 😂

"So... when are y'all opening?"

We promise we're just as excited as you are! We're not quite ready to announce an official opening date yet, but we can tell you this: it's happening this fall, and we're working as quickly as we can to open the doors.

Thank you for cheering us on through every step of this journey. We can't wait to welcome you into our new home soon!

Yesterday, we shared the bittersweet news that we're saying goodbye to our Hello Sunshine Collection as we make room for fall.

We've gotten a lot of questions lately about the fragrance oils we use in our products, and we're always happy to share more about what goes into everything we make.

The fragrances we use are carefully chosen and are free from parabens, phthalates, mutagens, reproductive toxins, and ingredients on California's Proposition 65 list. They're also cruelty-free and vegan.

So...what does that actually mean?

It means we've intentionally chosen fragrance oils without many of the ingredients people are looking to avoid. We believe you shouldn't have to choose between products that smell amazing and ingredients you feel good about using in your home.

We're always researching, asking questions, and working with trusted suppliers so we can continue creating products we're proud to make and use ourselves.

We know ingredients matter, and we're committed to making products you can feel good about bringing into your home.

Handmade soap was our thing, and we loved every minute of it.

Over the years, we started pouring candles, mixing bath products, creating home fragrances, and dreaming up new ways to make your home feel a little cozier. Before we knew it, "Soap Co." just didn't tell our whole story anymore.

That's how MillTown Bath & Candle Co. came to be.

The heart of our business hasn't changed one bit—we're still a small business making products by hand with a whole lot of love.

We've just grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.
