Ava and I completed Year 3 in Guatemala! My clumsy Spanish and her excellent Spanish were quite the combo. The hugs, laughter, and tears are always overflowing. God's ability to show up and show out is always amazing! We got to meet our family's new sponsor children and were able to dedicate the new classroom to our sponsor child who passed away. We missed Mallory this year due to OT school, but we were able to get some tips to help things in the future for some of the disabled. God has no limit to what He can do! The wheels are turning, and we haven't even made it back home! Thank you, Jesus, for never failing! We can’t wait to see what’s next! Just a few of my favorite moments

My goal was to raise a girl I’d wanna sit down and have a drink with and be best friends with! You have surpassed my expectations! You are amazing! Congratulations on your degree at Ole Miss, Rebel for life! The sky is the limit!

Done in three! I'm beyond proud of Ava! The values we've instilled in her - loving the Lord, being a good person, excelling in school and in her sports - are truly shining through. She's mastering it all with such grace. I'm excited to see God's plan unfold for her life. She's got a heart that seeks Him in every step. Feeling grateful to be her mom; she's everything I want to be.

Happy 18th birthday Ava Fletcher! You never waste a day with anticipation, you live with all you’ve got!   If we began a list of all the wonderful things about you, it would be a never ending book. You are true to a fault, you are talented beyond measure.  We can not take credit for raising you,  we can only give God the glory for all that he is doing within you. Your gifts are endless,  and you are not a shame to shine! With God leading your path, anything is possible for you! May your 18th birthday be filled with many, unexpected surprises!

It’s senior night at Softball for our baby. Ava has always been such a flexible player. She can play pretty much anywhere even though she’s a left-hander she makes the best of it. First base is always her home. First Baseman rarely get much recognition for all the work they do! We definitely tell her that this is always been her super power and job in life, to “clean up things and fix things better than the way she found them.” I feel like this is going to take her so far in life. We’ve enjoyed watching her play even though she does it just for us! (Inside joke) Ava Fletcher you are so strong, so beautiful and we are so blessed that you are ours!

Here’s to sophomore year at Presbyterian college! This drop off was different because so much happiness awaits our girl! Grass, trees, traditions and southern hospitality. South Carolina be good to her!
