Nolan and Sons NW is a rapidly growing family owned and operated sheet metal fabrication shop. We are currently looking for an experienced welder fabricator who is motivated in furthering their skillset in all areas inside and outside the shop. The responsibilities of this position include:
-Ability to follow multi-step directions and execute them with little supervision.
-Ability to interpret and build from computer generated blueprints and hand drawings.
-Ability to MIG weld stainless and mild steel, TIG a plus.
-Ability to accurately setup and use fabrication equipment including bandsaws, drill presses, punches, and iron workers.
-Ability to hold tolerance and standard of quality in your work, and take constructive criticism on how to better your skillset.
-Willingness to learn operation of all equipment in the shop including but not limited to forklifts, lathes, milling machines, press brakes.
-Occasional overtime
Required Qualifications for consideration
-Minimum of 2+ years fabrication experience OR related course completion from a trade school.
-Mechanical abilities and general understanding of mechanical assemblies.
-Strong math skills.
-Dependable, self-motivated, and task focused.
-Flexibility in a fast pace work environment with changing priorities.
-Ability to lift 75lbs occasionally.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour
