Yep, Today I leveled up.
Hi, its Kevin here bringing an update for those who have been following my health journey. ..Today was my first appointment with the prosthetic people and it went better than expected. He checked out my stump, examined how it was healing, and gave me a mobility test. ..He said my stump looked good, noticed it was draining some from one of the areas that the staples were removed, and said I rated a K2 but I was only like 3 or 4 points away from being a K3. ..To make a long story short, he decided that things looked good enough to give me a shaper for my stump. And so the new leg of my journey begins...This was as far as he was concerned the first major steps to getting my prosthetic. So yes, I leveled up today. ..I will have to wear the shaper for the next 3 weeks or so. If everything goes as planned he said I could have my prosthetic by Halloween but if not, no worries he will just give me the time needed to ensure everything is healed properly before making my prosthetic. ..Then after some physical therapy using the prosthetic I could be walking under my own power by Thanksgiving. How cool 😎 would that be?..So over all today was a mighty fine day. Hope Springs Eternal and I Thank Everyone who has sent me messages, texts, calls, well wishes and prayers. All of your support means The World 🌎 to me and my family... Nerd Up, Geek Out, and have a Zonetastic Day... We are Open Wednesdays-Saturdays from 10-6pm for all your collectible, gaming, gift giving, and nerdy 🤓 nostalgic needs.
