Kind of a quiet year for me. Accepted a new construction management job back in February which required a move and that really took a lot of focus away from fishing. Fortunately I found a new house and am finally all settled in. My new employer is very supportive of my guiding and although I have less days on the water, I enjoy it more than I ever have! My 2021 seasons were great to me even with my very limited days and I’m looking forward to an even better spring and fall in 2022. Couldn’t do it without all the people that help me!

Sportsman’s show season is here and that only means we’re getting really close to Springer season!

This year I plan on running my discounted shakedown/teaching trips starting March 1st-20th as long as our weather and water conditions cooperate. After the 20th it should be game on through May!

Last year was very successful in my boat and I don’t plan on changing that this year so if you’re looking to get after our best eating salmon of the year get ahold of me soon as dates will be starting to fill up!

I have availability through the end of the month to chase Spring Chinook in the Portland area, fishing has been good and should only improve!

It’s also never to early to book for the fall fisheries as I have limited service through June and July, while I’m in Alaska! We should see some phenomenal fishing with over one million salmon entering the Columbia River between August and September!
